Job Summary
The Vice President of Talent Acquisition will lead our hiring strategies for both hourly and salaried positions, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent. This role requires a strategic thinker who can innovate our recruiting processes and build a high-performing talent acquisition team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess workforce needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
    • Establish performance metrics and goals for the talent acquisition team.
  • Recruitment Strategies
    • Design and execute effective recruiting strategies for both hourly and salaried positions, utilizing various sourcing methods.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance candidate experience and employer branding.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Analyze recruiting metrics and trends to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
    • Utilize data to inform talent acquisition strategies and report on progress to senior leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide guidance on talent selection.
    • Cultivate relationships with external partners, including universities and recruitment agencies.
  • Compliance and Best Practices
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all recruitment practices.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record in managing high-volume recruitment for both hourly and salaried positions.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software.
    • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
