The Role
The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support financial planning and analysis activities. This position plays a vital role in keeping the company’s financial health strong, while delivering accurate reporting to support business decision-making.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist the Corporate Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, and financial regulations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management and the board.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Vista) and Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience in construction industries a plus.
