Senior Designer
The Senior Designer is responsible for timely implementation of design projects and provides comprehensive design services for clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for comprehensive management, creation, presentation and execution of business design solutions for high revenue clients
• Collaborate with design leadership and sales team on project and design allocation
• Exercise creative discretion with formation and presentation of real time customer design experience
• Prepare client quotes for timely submission to applicable departments
• Representation of company at bid presentations
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including documentation of key project decisions and customer/project requests/revisions
• Provide timely, formal written communications throughout project to client, dealer and project team
• Support strategic new business development
• Collaborate with sales and operations on forecasting
• Support aspects of Project Management to include project administration, project implementation, order management, and installation
• Facilitate post-install process and punch list completion; ensure deliverable timeliness and accuracy
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field
• Minimum 5 to 10 years’ contract dealer experience
• Proficient in CET Designer, AutoCAD and Project Spec or similar furniture specification software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent knowledge of plans and specifications, construction techniques and details
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial furniture and ergonomic trends
• Strong analysis and presentation skills

• Ability to exercise considerable judgement maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner
• Ability to independently identify, research, follow-up and resolve issues
• An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
• A strategic planner with sound technical skills, an analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
• A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demands
• Willingness to travel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• NCIDQ Certification and/or ASID Membership

• Project management experience
• A&D related experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Includes both a typical office and home office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues and occasional local and/or overnight travel including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions. Mode of transportation for travel typically will include automobile and plane.
