Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close.
  • Establish, document, and maintain accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and decision-making.
  • Support audits and ensure timely regulatory filings.
  • Assist with integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting specificity highly preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance roles, with strong GL experience.
  • Proven ability to design and implement accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (experience with other ERP systems is a plus).
  • Familiarity with M&A integration processes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the team.
