The Construction Manager will oversee rehab and renovation projects at various multifamily residential properties. This position will work closely with the on-site Property Staff, asset management team, external contractors and vendors to supervise and participate in rehab, renovations and property repairs by staying within budget and timeline expectations.

This position requires consistent travel.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
• Create detailed work plan and determine resources required to complete the project
• Participate in budget preparation and administration of project
• Develop and maintain a schedule of completion and allocate resources appropriately
• Administer project according to plan and schedule
• Monitor progress of the project and manage changes to the project scope and schedule
• Monitor and approve all budgeted hard cost project expenditures
• Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on progress
• Maintain records, prepare reports and documentation
• Review submittals and correspondence from contractor and consultants
