WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Important part of the accounting team in the closing of company financials at month-end.
- Assist in preparing financial reporting for management.
- Report writing a large plus to assist in building reports in NetSuite Planning & Budgeting software.
- Maintain prepaid expense and accrued liability schedules, including amortization of various costs and analyzing for accruals.
- Assist with reconciling intercompany balances, including working directly with managers at the Dallas-based shared services center to provide support for intercompany charges.
- Review of bank activity and preparation of bank reconciliations for certain bank accounts.
- Assist with tracking fixed asset and construction schedules for ongoing projects, including review of invoices for capitalization vs expense treatment, preparation of dashboards and summary reports for management, analysis of budget vs actual spend, valuation reviews, maintenance of property listings and values for insurance purposes, and maintenance of depreciation schedules through posting and reconciling balances.
- Maintenance of marketing accounts and schedules, including review of vendor invoices and budgets, and reconciliation of accounts.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 4+ years relevant accounting experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.
- CPA track preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain focused in a fast- paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience working with NetSuite and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting a plus.
