We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee and execute the day-to-day accounting operations of our MRO facility. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and is comfortable managing full-cycle accounting while supporting local leadership and corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing.
- Oversee accurate and timely billing processes aligned with customer contracts and work orders.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close.
- Maintain and monitor inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and reconciliation.
- Partner with General Managers to provide financial insights, reporting, and operational support.
- Liaise with corporate accounting team to ensure compliance with company policies and reporting standards.
- Assist with payroll processing, coordination, and related reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting best practices.
- Handle ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, aviation, or MRO environments.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes.
- Experience with inventory accounting and job costing preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel (Quantum experience a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
