Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close.
- Establish, document, and maintain accounting processes and internal controls.
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and decision-making.
- Support audits and ensure timely regulatory filings.
- Assist with integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting specificity highly preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance roles, with strong GL experience.
- Proven ability to design and implement accounting processes.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (experience with other ERP systems is a plus).
- Familiarity with M&A integration processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the team.
