The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving product awareness, sales enablement, and go-to-market execution across our portfolio of temporary power solutions, UL 1008 Dual/Triple switches, industrial cable, distribution equipment, and modular power products. This role partners closely with sales, engineering, operations, and vendor partners to create compelling product positioning and customer-focused content that supports growth in the industrial, commercial, and data center markets.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop clear, customer-centric positioning for company product lines, emphasizing safety, reliability, mobility, and compliance (e.g., UL 1008, NEC requirements).
- Translate technical specifications into value-driven messaging for contractors, engineering firms, distributors, and data center operators.
- Maintain updated product sheets, technical briefs, and application overviews for temporary power and modular solutions.
Content Development
- Create sales-ready collateral including product sheets, cut sheets, application guides, diagrams, presentations, case studies, and web content.
- Support the marketing team with video scripts, digital content, email campaigns, and trade show materials.
- Ensure all materials reflect company brand standards and product accuracy.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution
- Support new product introductions, feature updates, and line expansions with communication plans, collateral, and sales training.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering and operations to ensure the market-facing message reflects product capabilities, stock status, and lead times.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for product launches across multiple business units.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Research trends in temporary power, data center maintenance, modular switchgear, and electrical distribution markets.
- Track competitor offerings, pricing trends, and differentiators to strengthen company’s positioning.
- Provide data-driven insights to support product roadmaps and inventory decisions.
Sales Enablement
- Develop tools that help the sales team communicate value to customers—battlecards, competitive comparisons, technical application guides, and product demo content.
- Deliver training sessions to outside sales, inside sales, and channel partners to ensure deep product understanding.
- Support the quoting team with refined product descriptions and standardized messaging for proposals.
Campaign & Demand Generation Support
- Partner with the marketing team to build campaigns around high-demand categories like UL 1008 Dual/Triple Switches, portable power panels, cable assemblies, and modular solutions.
- Provide product content for digital advertising, social media, and email workflows.
- Monitor campaign results and provide insights for optimization.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 2–5 years of product marketing, technical marketing, or electrical/industrial product experience preferred.
- Familiarity with power distribution, temporary power equipment, electrical codes, or data center infrastructure is highly desirable.
