This position oversees the administration of hiring, retention, legal compliance, compensation and job classification structure, benefits and employee training. The role also includes a strategic focus on employee safety, health and morale.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and guides programs and policies that control employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, training, and employee services.
- Works with Leadership to set long -term organizational structure and staffing goals
- Sets policies for hiring and oversees adherence to EEOC and FAA requirements.
- Ensures adherence to labor laws, industry regulations, and internal policies
- Analyzes workforce data and maintains department KPIs
- Designs and implements training programs aimed at career development and enhancing skills
- Manages HR Generalist
- Coordinates with Controller to execute bi-weekly payroll
- Coordinates with Operations to manage Workplace Safety
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and best practices as well as HR systems and databases
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentations skills
- Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
- Results driven with demonstrable experience in HR metric
