The Role

The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support financial planning and analysis activities. This position plays a vital role in keeping the company’s financial health strong, while delivering accurate reporting to support business decision-making.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist the Corporate Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, and financial regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports for senior management and the board.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Vista) and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Experience in construction industries a plus.
