Job Duties:

• Generate, detail and implement mechanical designs based on new and previous specifications and assist supply chain and manufacturing with regard to product design, suppliers and technical specifications.
• Interpret and calculate mechanical designs based on technical specifications.
• Detail mechanical designs in 2D and 3D with Autodesk Inventor.
• Maintain and register components and product structures in SAP as well as maintain them.
• Support internal areas in interpreting the information contained in product documentation.
• Comply with the rules, internal procedures, and company policies.
• Manage engineering changes and adjustments to comply with supplier, manufacturing, and costs.
• Manage complex 3D models and generate customer layouts / maintain digital twin per project for future retrofits.
• Interface with other company engineering center and serve as key user for engineering SAP / ECTR tools.
• Interface with Sales to create technical documentation for customers.
• Lead and influence the team to comply with company processes.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success of delivering new product design.
• Demonstrated success of generating calculations and dimensioning mechanical components.
• SAP Intermediate know-how including Material/Part Number Creation, BOM creation, Engineering Change Process, and implementation (Equivalent ERP is acceptable).
• Minimum experience of 5 years.
• Preferred candidate will have experience with Autodesk Inventor (Mandatory)
• Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust

Travel Requirement: Average 10-15%
