Finance & Accounting Support Role

Overview
This position plays an important part in maintaining accurate records and assisting with financial reporting activities. The role involves account reviews, posting entries, and supporting both payables and receivables. It also requires maintaining asset schedules, ensuring documentation readiness for reviews, and contributing to an organized close process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile designated accounts and clear pending items promptly.

  • Support month-end and year-end activities, including journal postings and variance analyses.

  • Assist with preparation of periodic internal financial reports and related schedules.

  • Cross-train with other team members to cover functions such as payables and receivables.

  • Maintain the asset register with updates for additions, disposals, and depreciation.

  • Provide requested details for audits or examinations and assist with special reporting needs.

  • Partner with other departments to confirm accuracy of financial data.

  • Suggest workflow enhancements to improve timeliness and precision.

  • Uphold confidentiality of all company and member information.

  • Contribute to a positive and service-focused work environment.

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Around three years of relevant experience performing reconciliations, journal entries, and related accounting functions.
