Seeking a senior front-end construction leader who can own pre-construction, strengthen client strategy, mentor the estimating team, and help grow Company into higher-end commercial office and interior build-out work. This is not a traditional estimating seat. This is a leadership and growth role for someone who can win trust early, drive the front end of the business, protect margin, and help create long-term enterprise value inside an employee-owned company.
The right candidate must have these four traits:
- Relationship-Driven Market Maker: Real relationships with owners, developers, brokers, architects, owner's reps, property managers, subcontractors, and corporate users - ideally in Palm Beach County, northern Broward, or northern South Florida.
- Technical Pre-Construction Leader: Able to lead conceptual budgeting, estimating strategy, subcontractor coverage, VE, proposal development, scope review, and clean handoff to Operations. We do not want a pure salesperson who cannot protect the estimate.
- High-Urgency Growth Driver: Decisive, competitive, direct, and comfortable moving with incomplete information. Company needs front-end urgency and business-development energy - not someone who waits for perfect drawings before taking action.
- Hands-On Employee-Owner Mentality: Willing to wear many hats, mentor the existing team, chase opportunities, solve problems, and operate without corporate bureaucracy. This person needs to think like an owner, not like an employee protecting a narrow lane.
