Job Summary
- Prioritizing sending CFA/Memos/Fit Samples accordingly based on urgency.
- Pulls samples of booked options and requests from the memo app.
- Checking designated bins for mill samples that have been delivered throughout the day.
- Requests measures and cuts for samples from the warehouse as needed.
- Files projects: Daily assistance with cutting the testing samples; Re-organizing the piles of the physical test results for return to Prod Dev / PM; Assist with scanning of logs, then distribute to CC.
- This also ties into the monitoring of pre-orders that Customer Care is requesting to have reserved when available.
- Run department reports to ensure samples prior to shipping are sent in a timely manner to designated designer/customer.
- Work with Logistics and Customer Care team to ensure mill samples for approval are reviewed against memo books and/or project management team for custom items.
- Ensuring Mill Samples when necessary are handed over to Testing team.
- Approve Samples for Print Team.
- Work with Customer Care to ensure all completed files w/fabric samples are correctly filed for future reference/approvals or field claims.
- Send closeout documents to customers: FRC, Fabric Warranty, and Care/Cleaning documents.
- Point of Contact for Quality Claims Sales order, updating this order once processed with correct details.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with Syspro ERP is strongly preferred.
- The position requires an analytical, fast-paced, multi-tasking individual who can manage heavy email and phone correspondence for high-profile customers with large-scale textile project orders.
- Must be organized, efficient, and able to maneuver easily with new technologies.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in all situations.
- Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus.
