Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Manage job costing and WIP tracking/reporting
- Prepare and monitor cash flow projections
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and customer billing
- Prepare financial reports and support month-end close activities
- Maintain organized accounting documentation and records
- Collaborate with ownership and operations on financial tracking and reporting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company accounting procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Prior experience supporting construction, subcontracting, or contractor environments
- Strong job costing experience required
- Working knowledge of WIP accounting and construction-related financial processes
- Experience preparing cash flow projections preferred
- Strong QuickBooks proficiency required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
