Accounting Manager Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization. Your role will involve:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Preparing accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitoring budget performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Establishing and maintaining effective internal controls.
• Conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinating with external auditors during annual audits.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Managing and mentoring accounting staff.
• Providing guidance on complex accounting issues.
• Promoting professional growth within the team.

Process Improvement:

• Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
• Implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Contributing to system upgrades and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems, NetSuite ideal
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a major plus
